Orange Sunrise is our standard orange soap formulation that just didn't go through a complete gel phase leaving a gel ring at the center. Gel phase is achieved by allowing the soap to reach a temperature hot enough to force it to gel to achieve a brighter soap color. When a soap does not gel, normally the soap is a lighter softer color. Most often its a choice but once in a while the soap wants to do its own thing. That happens to be the case with this batch. Gelled soap affects the esthetics of the soap and does not compromise the integrity or quality of the soap. I like them and, in this case, goes nicely with the name I've chosen for this soap. When you get your bar, see which part is gelled and which part is not; interesting. Each bar has the same great cleansing qualities and is packed with great lather with the fresh sent of orange.
